MindFlex -Mind Controlled Game

3 Jan

Say goodbye to all your joysticks,playstations,X-Boxes and make way for “MindFlex”- A Mind Controlled Game!

Mind Flex is a “Mind over Matter” game. This game is played using your Brain Waves.
The motto of this game is to move a ball across an obstacle, not by using your hand, but using your MIND!

You need to wear a head gear consisting of 3 sensors. One which is stuck on your forehead, the other 2 goes behind your ears. Now,as you start concentrating on the ball, the activity of your brain waves starts increasing. These sensors reads the increased brain wave activity and that controls the speed of a fan which moves the ball across the obstacle.

This is just a small step for the future of “Mind Controlled Games”

Google "Nexus One" price,ETFs and Contract Details leak!

30 Dec

The much awaited Google’s “Nexus One” will be launched on Jan 5th 2010 at 9am via online orders only. It works on Android operating system.

Google has leaked more details regarding the price,ETF’s and Contract details of “Nexus One”!!
Reportedly the phone will be primarily carried in the U.S. by T-Mobile, but also be available in unlocked form for use with other G.S.M. carriers — in the U.S. that means AT&T can handle the phone as well.  According to T-Mobile News’ “internal sources” at T-Mobile, the phone will launch on January 5 at 9 a.m. via online orders only
To keep existing T-Mobile plans — such as the Family plans, Flexpay, SmartAccess and KidConnect plans — you must opt for the unlocked phone, reportedly.  Otherwise, you can pick up a specially designed voice+text+web plan for $79.99/month.  That’s just slightly more than the basic iPhone plan with 200 texts ($75/month).
Other notable restrictions reportedly will apply.  You can only purchase five phones per Google account (okay, this isn’t such a big deal, as making new accounts is a breeze).  And more importantly, if you cancel the contract on the T-Mobile-carried phone, you’ll reportedly have to pay the difference between the unsubsidized phone and the discounted phone — $350.  However, there’s a significant catch — you can send your phone back to Google and not pay any phone-specific ETF (though T-Mobile might still hand you an ETF).
Google has invited reporters to “an Android press gathering” on January 5, lending credibility to the hoards of leaked info.  A Google spokeswoman said that the press conference would be held at 10 a.m. and followed by “demonstrations” afterwards.

Twitter’s "Square"- A Credit Card Payment Gadget for your Phone!

22 Dec

On Tuesday,Twitter Creator, Dorsey announced his new start-up, Square, which will let anyone with a cellphone or iPod become a merchant and accept credit card payments.

Square is a small plastic device that plugs into a gadget’s headphone jack. Buyers swipe their credit cards through the machine, which then transmits the payment data to an application running on a connected iPhone or iPod Touch. (Android and Blackberry apps are in development, and computer software will be available later.)

You don’t have to have the Square gadget or app to pay. You just need a credit card and an e-mail address to receive a receipt.

Beginning sometime early next year, Dorsey wants everyone to use Square.

Dorsey envisions the service replacing virtually every cash transaction. Let’s say a friend owes you $30 for dinner last week, but there’s no ATM in sight. Grab the Square device from your keychain, plug it into your phone and tell him to pay up.

The payment system is secure, Dorsey said. Transactional data is safely encrypted, and the credit card info is never stored on the device, only passed along, he said. Signatures are drawn with a finger on the touch screen.
